Book Review:Clockwork Angel

Hey guys! :) I haven't done a book review in ages! The first time I read Clockwork Angel was a little over a year ago. I received Clockwork Prince for my Birthday,and decided to re-read Clockwork Angel before I started it. :)

Description:

Magic is dangerous-but love is more dangerous still. My thoughts:

I loved this book. The plot is so incredible and the characters are so amazing. The book itself is pretty dark and action-packed,but the characters make it humorous and fun. Especially the three main characters:Tess,Will,and Jem.

I'm not gonna lie,I thought Tessa was a tad boring in the beginning. But she really developed throughout the book and I grew to love her personality.

I shouldn't like Will as much as I do,considering how rude he is to Tessa,but I can't help but love his character. Throughout the book you get to learn about the characters secrets and backgrounds,and Will's is by far the one I'm most interested in.

Jem is pretty much the opposite of Will,which is remarkable because they're so close. He's smart,kind,and not in any way harsh to Tessa.

All the characters are amazing in their own way,and I really could go on and on.

All in all,this book was great and I'm so glad I re-read it. The Infernal Devices is the prequel series to The Mortal Instruments,which I have read,and several people complain about how similar the two series are. Personally,I don't think they're that similar. The characters are fairly similar,but other than that they're different story lines. I highly,highly recommend,especially if you're a fan of The Mortal Instruments.

Summer Besties-TAG

Hey everyone! :) So today's post is going to be the Summer Besties Tag(I think this year it's called Summer Sun Tag,but I like Summer Besties better ;) ). So in this tag there's 10 categories of beauty products and you name your favorite one from that category. And they're all summer related! I love this tag,and I'm so excited to do it! :) Let's get started! :D

1.Lip Product
That would probably just be a really good chapstick. Right now I'm loving EOS in Summer Fruit.

2.Blush
Right now it's Estee Lauder Signature Powder in Gold Pearl. I love love love it! :)

3.Nails
Pretty much any color from Essie's Bikini So Teeny collection. They are my favorite polishes for summer.  I'm going to paint my nails with Off The Shoulder within the next couple of days.

4.Liquid Face Product
Right now I'm really liking the Covergirl NatureLuxe Silk Foundation,but that changes quite often. I really like this foundation,except for the color. Obviously since it's summer I'm going to go up a couple shades,and right now this shade is too light for me.

5.Powder Face Product
That would be the Covergirl Clean Pressed Powder. This is just nice to dust on if I happen to get shiny throughout the day.

6.Hair Product
That would be the Tresseme Fresh Start Volumizing  Dry Shampoo. I don't wash my hair everyday,but there's some days where my hair just feels dirty and this really helps.

7.Eye Product
Maybelline Eyestudio Trio Cream Eyeshadow Set in Rose Revolution. In the summer I just take the lightest shade with my finger and put it all over my lid. I really love this trio,and you should totally check it out! ;)

8.Tanning Product
Does the sun count? Haha. I don't really "self tan". I can go out in the sun and get gradually darker on my own. And I don't even mean lay out in the sun. I mean literally just go outside and do whatever. And it works! :)

9.Accessory
A cute pair of sandals or just really casual flip flops. I'm pretty lazy with my shoes in the summer,haha.

10.Clothing
Really flowy,loose shirts. They're so cute and can also be used as a bikini coverup! :)

My Favorite Summer Nail Polishes

Hey everyone! :) Today's post is going to be on summer polishes! In the summer,I love love love bright and fun nails. I've really been loving Essie's new summer collection,Bikini So Teeny. There's six colors in the collection. This collection has been getting a lot of love,and I'm so glad I tried it out.

What I have on my nails is Mojito Madness. After using this,I'm obsessed with Essie nail polishes. I had never really tried them before this collection. Now it's my favorite nail brand.

The next color I have is Off The Shoulder. It's a bright pink and so beautiful. Personally,I think this looks better on your toes,where as Mojito Madness looks better on your fingers. It's really bold and just gorgeous.

The next color is Fear or Desire. After I publish this post I'm probably going to paint my toes with this. It's a bright,fun orange.

The next one is called Bikini So Teeny,which is what the collection was named after. This is my perfect color for the summer. I will be wearing this so much!

The next two I actually don't have in my collection,but after trying these four out,I really want to get them.

This one is called Cascade Cool,which is a sweet,creamy,dusty pink.

And then last but not least,All Tied Up. This polish is a bronze with golden shimmer!

Review:Face Scrubs

Hey girls! First off,I just wanna thank you SO much for 40 followers! :D Today's post is going to be about two amazing face exfoliators,one high end and one not.

The first one is the Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream. To me,this scrub is perfect. I use this instead of an exfoliating mask,and it works just as well. I have dry skin,but this works for all skin types. After I use it,I totally notice a difference. It's one of those gritty scrubs,which I personally really like. The only thing is that sometimes it can be a tad hard to rinse off,but that isn't a huge con. I love this so much,and it really works! My skin feels very refreshed when I'm done using this. I highly  recommend.  This also helps with breakouts. I've been using this for about 2 or 3 months now and I've only had a few small breakouts. (My skin isn't extremely acne prone,though.) This is by far one of the best exfoliators I've ever used. It's not harsh at all,and I highly recommend you check it out. It retails for $19.50,which is a tad expensive,but I promise you,it's worth it!

 The next one is the Rue21 Everyday Scrub. Honestly,I love Rue21,but I don't really count it as a "beauty store",but I was still excited to try this product when I first got it. And I actually really do like it. I also feel like this scrub is good for all types of skin. When I use this,I really feel like it's actually cleaning. I haven't been using it nearly as long as the Clinique,but I still recommend it. It also makes my skin feel really soft. Personally,I do like the Clinique better,but this retails for only $4.99,so if you don't have the money to splurge,I recommend you check this out!
