Remember 9/11

So today is the 11-year anniversary of 9/11. It's kind of hard to believe the attacks were over a decade ago. Today is a day to honor all of the victims. You are always in my prayers. Let's just take a moment to be completely thankful for everything that we have in our lives.

My Furry Friend-TAG

Hey everyone! :) So I actually was planning to do this post on Sunday because that was actually my dog's birthday,but I ran out of time! So I'm just doing it today. ;)
So today I'm going to be doing the Furry Friend Tag,which is a tag all about your pet! So the above picture is a picture of my dog,Sugar! :) Let's go ahead and get started!

1.What is your pet's name?
My pet's name is Sugar. :) I know that's not very original,but it fits her,haha.

2.What kind of pet is it and what breed?
She's obviously a dog,and she's a Maltipoo. Which is a mix between a maltese and poodle. :)

3.How long have you had your pet?
I've had her since September 2008. :)

4.How did you get your pet?
She was adopted from my local shelter.

5.How old is your pet?
Well,she just had a birthday,so she's either 5 or 6. She's adopted,so obviously I don't know her exact age.

6.What are some quirky things about your pets personality?
Basically,either she's super lazy or super hyper,haha. She does this thing where she pretty much runs around the whole downstairs of my house about 3-5 times. I call it her exercise mode. ;)

7.What does your relationship with your pet mean to you?
It means a lot. There's totally times where Sugar is like my best friend.

8.What are some of your favorite past times with your pet?
Well,whenever I go on vacation,I usually let her stay with my uncle. And I love when I come back to pick her up and she's sooo excited. :)

9.What are nicknames that you call your pet?
I really only call her the usual "pretty girl" or "sweet girl",haha.

What's In My School Beauty Bag?

I hope everyone is having a great Labor Day! :) Today I decided to do a "What's in my School Beauty Bag" post! (:
Honestly,at my school,I really don't have a lot of time to touch up my makeup in between classes. But I like to carry some essentials around just in case I have time. :)

So this is my makeup bag. :) It's from Clinique. It's actually pretty small,but the perfect size for school! So let's get started with what I keep inside! :)

1.The first thing is any kind of pressed powder. My favorite kind is from Covergirl. I don't really have oily skin,but my skin can tend to get a tad shiny throughout the day.
2.Concealer. My favorite is the Neutregena Healthy Skin Concealer. This concealer is great for under eyes and blemishes!
3.Whatever lipstick/lipgloss I'm wearing that day. Lips are totally the number one thing that I would touch up in a limited amount of time. For me,I always like to play up my lips way more than my cheeks. I don't know why,but I've never really been a big blush person.
4.Black eyeliner pencil. I wear black eyeliner every single day. This is one of those things where I really don't have time to touch it up,but I like carrying it around just in case. My favorite ones are from Clinique and ELF.
5.Lipbalm. My lips chap very easily,so this is extremely important for me.
6.Small bottle of perfume. I actually keep a travel size body spray in my locker so I can spray it in between classes. :)
7.Pads/tampons. It's just one of those things that all girls need to carry with them. You never know when it's going to sneak up on you.
8.Mini hairbrush. You'd be surprised how much this comes in handy.
9.$5 dollar bill or just a little bit of cash. Just in case you ever need it. :)
10.Mints/gum. I really don't chew gum at school,but I do like to pop in a mint sometimes.
11.Ponytail holders/bobby pins. I cannot stress this enough.
