Review:MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation

When I was at the beach,I stopped by a MAC counter and picked up a few items. While I was there the artist(who was SUPER nice)gave me a sample of the MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. I know I'm pretty slow to jump on the bandwagon with this product, but I was always content with my several Clinique foundations. But I just thought I would try it out. It's described as a medium-buildable coverage, and that's really accurate. It gives a nice amount of coverage, without covering everything. So it's not cakey in the slightest. The finish is so beautiful, and I don't even set it with powder. (I have dry skin,so it's not necessary for me to use setting powder anyway.) It's truly flawless. It really deserves the hype. I highly, highly recommend, and I will be purchasing the full size when I run out of my sample! ;)

P.S. I'm in the shade NC25,if you were wondering. :)

:) Becca

  1. I've wanted to try this so bad but I could never justify the price. I'm definitely a drug store girl =) Hopefully I can try it out sometime and see for myself

    1. What drugstore foundations do you like? :) I can never find the right one.

  2. I really want to try this foundation too, I've heard so many people rave about it and as I was about to buy it someone told me that it wasn't very good for your skin and blocked up your pores. You may have convinced me though as I've used Clinique for ages and also have quite dry skin!

    1. Hmm,I've never heard anything about it blocking your pores, but that very well could be true. :) I personally think Clinique foundations are the best, but I highly recommend this one!

    2. Hi Melissa, I have this foundation and it broke me out badly :( I really wanted to like it because the finish and coverage was amazing, but after using it, I started developing ugly under the skin acne. I'm so happy it worked out for you, Becca, because it looked so good on my skin!

    3. Wow,I'm sorry it broke you out! I haven't seem to be having any problems with it. Maybe it's just one of those foundations that isn't for everyone.
